Nice atmosphere. excellent view. Good food. Great portions. The exception was the chocolate brownie that I requested to be warm was not adhered to. The topping was a novel idea , but the original one is still my favourite. The waitress was friendly but did not attend the table as expected. We had to ask her colleagues regularly to attend to us or call her to assist us. I suggest keeping their tables in close proximity to alleviate this issue. Regular training with all waiters to attend their tables more often also wouldn't hurt. Bring condiments to the table before the food is served etc....small details I expect from Spur. I can relate to this as I was employed as a manager in this franchise at one stage and I am au fait with their policies and system. The food was great, as what I expect for Spur standards. The cutlery and dishes were clean and well presented. And so were the ablutions. The staff was very friendly. I was met by the manager when we left, and had a nice conversation. I noticed that our attending waitress did not have her name tag on. Neither did she introduce herself. I suggest you attend these small but I feel important criteria. I will definitely return to your establishment soon and assess it again. ....it most certainly has all the goods to be 5 star rated....but just not yet!
