Topeka Spur Reviews
During Ramadan, I personally have experience with the nightmare of getting 90% of the restaurant's food out, within a 5 minute window of the time to break fast (Boeka as Capetonians would call it and Iftar, as the rest of the world). Due to this being one of only 5 Cape Town based, halaal catered Spur Restaurants, Topeka Spur would remain packed for that 1 - 2 hours at sunset and places massive strain on Waitrons and kitchen staff alike. To add to pressure, Topeka Spur also has a buffet offer but due to COVID-19 protocols, this was be dished up by a Server as opposed to Patrons dishing for themselves. This was my first night at Topeka Spur, although being quite familiar with the other branches. They delivered with phenomenal coordination and team work, without a hiccup. What was even a joy to notice, was their manager personally handing out samoosas, water and dates to the Patrons who were still waiting in the queue, during the time of breaking fast, as although the seating capacity is huge, the demand this particular night outnumbered availability. In such cases I fear for the quality and correct order reaching my table especially after fasting an entire day, but I was completely pleased with my and my family's food and not forgetting our superb Waitress, Wendy, who we could see were so busy, yet made us feel like we were her only table. Our waitress Nabeela was on point. Very friendly and efficient. Made sure that our table was not cluttered. We didn't wait long for the food even though restaurant was busy due to Ramadan. Hope they can keep it up after Ramadan.

100% my favourite Spur in the whole of Cape Town. Their staff are such amazing human beings! My steak always arrives just the way I want it and if it doesn't they do not hesitate to bring me a whole new plate. 10/10 would recommend coming to this Spur instead of any other.
