Make an adorable handprint butterfly planter for Mother’s Day, a teacher’s gift, or just for a fun spring craft. It brightens up any space!
You’ll need:
- Tin can, cleaned with label removed
- Small plant or seedlings
- Paint and paintbrush
- Black permanent marker
- Pipe cleaners
- Googly eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
- White cardboard
STEP 1: Paint the tin can.
STEP 2: Coat your hands with paint and press onto cardboard. Cut out the handprints.
STEP 3: Cut a pipe cleaner into 4 pieces and twirl the ends. Glue onto the top inside area of the tin.
STEP 4: Glue googly eyes onto the front. Glue handprints onto the back, using one per wing. Draw a mouth.
STEP 5: Fill the can with soil and add your plant or seedlings.
